The rose apple is a South Asia native often loved by children but does not store well so typically it is eaten out of hand or made into preserves. Can be pruned into a tree but will bush out if left unatended. Can be used as a privecy screen or erosian control. Most notably for us its a great source for our bees improving their honey flow. prefers full sun but will tollerate some shade and does well with wet feet if you have an area with poor drainige.
