This is the extra spicy little sister of ginger with hints of  pine. Can be used fresh or dried and ground into a powder.  Used in herbal medicine as well as cooking. Use Galangal any way you use ginger at home but with more Zing. Flavor is pottant so use sparingly at first. Galangal prefers dappled sunlight but can withstand full Sun.
