White Sapote is a unique evergreen tree that is more cold tolerant compared to other varieties. Fruit is peach size with a creamy avocado texture and tropical flavors. Trees should be protected from freezing while young and can not survive temps below 26deg. We recommend protecting them from freezing through out there life to reduce damage and increase fruit harvest. These evergreens are heavy feeders and are a host plant to many butterfly species. Fruit is often eaten fresh or used in milkshakes or desserts.
