The largest and quite possibly the thorniest blackberry variety. The fruit has excellent flavor and is a pleasant mouthful. High disease resistance and very vigorous. This is by far my favorite flavored blackberry but my least favorite to work with. The canes are heavily thorned and must be trellised for easy access to the fruits. This variety also sends out root runners far from the mother plant so I'd be warry on planting near a neighbor.
